This is a rare kokeshi by Yuji Watanabe made from keyaki (Japanese zelkova) wood. She has a beautiful kimono with Hydrangea flowers who also cover her hair. The doll has a very subtle balance between the flowers and the wood. This kokeshi comes with her original box which is great added value.
