This is beautiful work by Sadao Kishi decorated with ginkgo leaves, temari balle and fans. Her title is 'Shūsen' literally translates to 'fan in autumn' which is a metaphor for a woman who has lost a man's affection, love, or interest. It signifies an object that is no longer needed or useful, as fans are used in summer but discarded when the cold autumn arrives.
I really like her hairpiece, unfortunately it has been damaged in the past
