This Exclusive kokeshi By Issetsu Kuribayashi has a beautiful yet strong appearance. As in most of Kuribayashi's dolls the natural wood has a predominant role. The deep carved lines on her head beautifully define the hair. She comes with her original box. The colors are still very deep. The wood used for this kokeshi is most likely Enju (Japanese pagoda tree).
