This is one of the rarest pieces by Yoshida Takashi which we have ever found. Yoshida most commonly makes colorful work. This kokeshi has a kind of a terracotta finish and looks more powerful. This work often have very poetic titles and this is not different for this piece: 'The Great Tree'.
